    Training provided?

    YES

    Skills or other requirements
You provide a bed and meals for your student, but most importantly, you should be eager and excited to shareyour life and activities while providing the same kind of care, support, and comfort as you would to your own child or family members. Of course, hosting an international student means more than providing a bed and meals. As an AFS Host Family, you'll transform your own community while learning about a new culture. You'll also help a young person discover the U.S. right from your home. Any kind of family can host!
